So what can we expect if the GB individual members are named in child sexual abuse lawsuit?

it’s one thing to go after the watchtower in a legal lawsuit, but it’s a completely different thing to go after the individual governing body members and point the finger at them as the ones responsible for covering up child sexual abuse in the congregations world-wide.

the reason i say this is because i have seen when the watchtower organization makes the news on some child abuse case, the normal reaction from publishers is;.

i am only speaking from my personal point of view and not to encroach on anyone else's belief system:.

one of the main points of attraction to the jw life was the 'panda paradise', once i woke up, i began to think about the future and it made me realize that jw's have little or no regard for life and the way they treat others even in those who are jw's.. e.g.

no blood, shunning, theocratic warfare, no real charity work for those in need, etc.... if we live forever on earth we would get bored, we would take relationships for granted and possible want to actually die.. what makes anything valuable is the not the beauty of it but the rarity of it or the limited amount of it.. time is not only limited but all of our hourglasses are opaque leaving the amount of sand remaining a guess at best, and this is what moves us to appreciate life and ever little thing it gives us.. there is a beautiful and poignant song by jason isbell 'if we were vampires' and it perfectly describes the beauty one can find in ones mortality and how it moves us to love & care deeper than if we were immortal.. the 2nd verse goes .

Will JWs Forget the Past After Armageddon as the WTS says regarding Isaiah 65:17, Yes and No

a previous topic discussed isaiah 65:17 regarding remembering the past and applied it to the things before wickedness is wiped out at armageddon and that survivors will not call the past to mind.

yet at the end of the article after this article, the wts reference: isaiah 65:17, saying just the opposite, that the past will not be remembered.

what do some other statements made by the wts as to what isaiah 65:17 means.

Why doesn’t the Governing Body hold debates to asses the qualifications of a new GB member?

the members have no idea what qualifies someone has to be a member of the governing body.

members know absolutely nothing about new members of the governing body who are appointed.

kenneth cook was the last appointed governing body member in 2018..
